My Story: Born on the Camino to Santiago
Vertex Voyages was born from a profound personal experience. I learned the true meaning of resilience and letting go not in a classroom, but on the world's trails.
After walking the Camino de Santiago countless times—and completing epic treks like the Appalachian Trail—a simple truth became undeniable: the journey is the ultimate metaphor for life. The solitude, the physical struggle, the commitment to minimalism, and the constant necessity of shedding unnecessary baggage inevitably lead to fundamental and lasting insights.
This focus on adventure was amplified by a period of significant change in my own life. My divorce and the strong drive for self-improvement led me to follow many self-help workshops. The most surprising realisation? The essential lessons—about resilience, acceptance, and inner peace—were the exact same ones I gained after long days of walking, with my feet in the mud and my head in the clouds.
I realised I had to share this powerful combination with others.
